Art Nouveau designs: flowers and pattern

Art Nouveau is a style of art, design and architecture that was popular between 1890 and 1910. Its proponents took inspiration from the natural world and created table lamps (Tiffany), buildings (Gaudi), posters (Mucha) and more with flowing lines and soft colours.

The book includes botanical drawings of the plants, plus images where the original plant has been transformed into a simplified (although never simple!) design.
